This is the highest boulder in Latvia. The stone is 4.3 meters high. Its circumference is 16.5 meters and its weight is 160 tons. Great stone is a protected natural object. There are legends about the stone.
The devil has stolen this stone from Thunder Castle. When Thunder noticed this, he went to look for the devil. When Thunder found the devil, in anger he split the stone into 3 parts with lightning.
